Is your spiritual life running low
Running on Empty
Sir Godfrey Gregg
Read
For I know my transgressions, and my sin is ever before me. 4 Against you, you only, have I sinned and done what is evil in Your sight… Psalm 51:3-4
Reflect
We were thought over the years that we have to be in church to be connected with God our Father. Sometimes even if on Sundays alone. I have grown to understand that our God is wireless and can be connected from anywhere, if we should call on Him. All we need is to dial Him in prayer and wait for the answer.
Too often we find ourselves running on “low batteries” because of power drains caused by pride and apathy.
The first step toward regaining vitality is to recognize that we need God’s mercy. David understood this when he penned the words of Psalm 51:3-4.
He didn’t run from his choices, nor did he waste any time blame shifting. It was a time of coming clean before the LORD as the starting point for restoring his relationship with God. Isn’t it time to be honest before the LORD? He longs to restore us to full power but waits for us to make the first step.
