He can have compassion on those who are ignorant and going astray, since he himself is also subject to weakness. Hebrews 5:2
In ancient Israel, the high priest was, ideally, an empathetic mediator between God and men. Now, however, because of the work of Jesus Christ, Your Great High Priest, you no longer need the work of Jesus Christ, your Great High Priest, You no longer need (1 Peter 2:9), chosen by God to pray for others and to represent Christ to those who don’t know Him.
One of the most important ways You can do that is bY being kind. It was God’s kindness, after all, that led you to repentance (Romans 2:4) His desire to show you that He grasped your struggles and wanted to help-and could help because Jesus was fully man and fully God.
In Christ’s example, you see that great, life-changing kindness can come from understanding what it is to be tempted, to struggle, and to almost not make it, but it’s not automatic. In fact, people often criticize those whose sins are most like their own. The scope of Your ministry is different: when someone stumbles, you should “gently and humbly help that person back 0 the right path. And be careful not to fall into the same temptation yourself” (Galatians 6:1). Forgiven sinners should be forgiving.
