As thou art, so were they; each one resembled the children of a king. Judges 8:8 (NIV)
It was a magnificent tribute to the royal bearing of this illustrious family. All the children had the stamp of kingliness on them, which had impressed even these barbaric princes. Would that a similar confession could be extorted from those who behold the members of the royal house of Jesus!
The children of a king! It is within the reach of any who aspire to it. By the second birth, we become the children of God, joint-heirs with Christ, and the Spirit witnesses to our sonship, teaching us to cry, Abba, Father. As children of the great King, we should bear the sign of our high lineage in our bearing and walk. As children of this high Order of the Priesthood, you must conduct yourself (Learn to conduct yourself) as required by the rules of Royalty. Your behaviour must be of the highest standard and of good character, not as busybodies meddling in matters that are not pertaining to that of sound doctrine and good behaviour. Men acting like sissy spreading gossip and street mongering, causing division and destruction from within the fold. Such conduct proves that you are nowhere near to the blood lineage far less being a child of the King.
Royalty of Demeanor. – There is an aristocratic bearing in the scions of noble houses among men. The head is lifted high, the mien (a person’s manner, bearing, or appearance, expressing personality or mood) is proud, the manner distant and reserved. But in the family of God, meekness, and lowliness, humility and contriteness, are marks of family likeness. We walk as Jesus walked, of whom John the Baptist said, “Behold the Lamb of God!”
Royally of Dress. – The king is marked by the brilliant orders glittering on his breast. Purple and ermine become those who date their descent from a line of kings. But the emblem of our family is the cross; our color is scarlet; our insignia is the towel and basin that speak of lowly service. The way you dress tells a great story of your lineage. You are a reflection of your calling and the House of Royal Blood. I am so proud to be a member of the Royal Order of The Mystical Court where there is only a few bearing that insignia. For those who hold the title “Order of The High Priest of Melchedezic stay in your calling and wear it with pride. You are no ordinary person, this is how Peter puts it in 1 Peter chapter 2 verses 9and 10 ”
But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light;
10 Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.”
Royalty of Occupation. – The earthly king does nothing servile. He is waited on with lowly obeisance. But they who are of the same family as Jesus are found performing the lowliest acts of service, in jails, hospitals, and slums. In this, they follow closely on the steps of Him who went about doing good.
Brethren know your God and Him that you serve. You are no ordinary person saved and sanctified. You are brought with a price and made a partaker of the heavenly promises in Christ Jesus. May God open our eyes and understanding to see that the King is ready to establish His kingdom and through this message all subjects are summoned to find your rightful place. God bless.
