Scripture: Mark 4:39
“He got up, rebuked the wind and said to the waves, ‘Quiet! Be still!’ Then the wind died down and it was completely calm.”
Many before us endured storms—both literal and spiritual—and God’s peace was their anchor. Walking in the light of our ancestors means trusting that even in turbulent times, God’s calming presence is near.
When life’s difficulties rage around you, hold fast to the promise of peace that transcends understanding. Like Jesus rebuking the storm, we too can find calm in Him.
Challenge: Identify a storm in your life and surrender it to God in prayer.
Prayer:
Prince of Peace, quiet the winds within me. Still my anxious heart and fill me with Your peace that sustains through every storm.
