Scripture: Deuteronomy 5:32
“So be careful to do what the Lord your God has commanded you; do not turn aside to the right or to the left.”
Obedience was the bedrock of faith for our ancestors. True walking in the light means following God’s commands faithfully without wavering. Reflect on how your ancestors obeyed God in small and large ways, building a foundation of faith that supports your journey today.
Challenge: Today, take deliberate action to obey a prompting or command God has placed on your heart, however small.
Prayer:
Lord, guide my steps in complete obedience to You. Help me to stay true to Your commands, following your light steadfastly as my ancestors did. May my obedience bring glory to You and strengthen the legacy of faith in my life.
