Day 28: Trusting God’s Timing

Scripture: Ecclesiastes 3:1
“There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens.”

Our ancestors knew that life unfolds according to God’s perfect timing. They learned patience through seasons of waiting, trusting that God’s plans would come to fruition at the appointed moment. Walking in their light means embracing God’s timing, even when it is difficult to understand or accept.

Waiting can be challenging, but it also cultivates faith, perseverance, and humility. It teaches us to rely not on our own schedules but on God’s sovereign wisdom. Reflect on times when waiting produced growth or blessings in your own family’s story.

Today, surrender impatience and embrace God’s perfect season, knowing that every part of your journey is under His steadfast care.

Challenge: Identify an area where you need to trust God’s timing more fully, and submit it to Him in prayer.

Prayer:
Lord, teach me to wait patiently and trust in Your perfect timing. Help me surrender my need for control and rest in Your sovereign plan. May I walk confidently in Your timing, honouring the faith of those who waited before me. Amen.
