SOLOMON’S TEMPLE A SYMBOL OF SPIRITUAL GROWTH

In The Mystical Order Ministries, Solomon’s Temple is considered a symbol of spiritual growth and enlightenment. According to Masonic tradition, the temple was built under the guidance of King Solomon, who is revered as a wise and just ruler. However, the actual builder of the temple is believed to be Hiram Abif, a skilled craftsman and Master Architect.

Hiram Abif is said to have been appointed by King Solomon to oversee the construction of the temple. He was a master of his craft, possessing great knowledge and skill in architecture, engineering, and art. Under his direction, the temple was built to exacting specifications, with every detail and dimension carefully planned and executed.

The construction of Solomon’s Temple is seen by Freemasons as an allegory for the building of a spiritual temple within oneself. Just as Hiram Abif oversaw the construction of the physical temple, the Master Architect within us guides the building of our spiritual selves. The temple’s design and layout are also said to contain hidden symbolism and teachings, which The Mystical Order Ministries strive to understand and apply in their lives.

In this sense, Solomon’s Temple represents a journey of self-discovery and personal growth, with Hiram Abif serving as a model of wisdom, skill, and dedication. Through their teachings and rituals, The Mystical Order Ministries aim to emulate the ideals embodied by Hiram Abif and the construction of Solomon’s Temple, seeking to build a spiritual edifice within themselves that is strong, beautiful, and enduring.
